Governance Restructuring Committee

 

Pursuant to the restructuring that is taking place at Truman State University, this committee is charged with creating recommendations for a new structure for the current Faculty Senate, Undergraduate Council, and Graduate Council that will:

(a)    preserve the integrity of faculty governance;

(b)   provide appropriate communication for the process of shared governance;

(c)    recommend appropriate updates to the Constitution and bylaws;

(d)   support an environment of clear and transparent accountability;

(e)    foster communication both between the faculty and administration and between departments across campus; and

(f)     reflect good practice as presented in academic reports and studies of governance.
